T he Brazilian Blue (Lasiocyano sazimai) — a true gem of a tarantula, and one of the most eye-catching species in the hobby. This New World beauty is all about that metallic sapphire shimmer, a mix of elegance and mystery that makes her a centerpiece in any serious collection.
Behavior and Temperament: Nervous and skittish — not aggressive, but quick to retreat
Habitat and Environment Needs: Prefers a terrestrial setup. Substrate: 4–5 inches of slightly moist coco fiber/topsoil mix. Humidity: 65–75% (allow one side of the enclosure to stay a bit drier). Temperature: 72–78°F (22–25°C).
Feeding: Feed on Crickets, roaches, mealworms, superworms.
