The Phan Cay Blue is a spectacular Old World tarantula known for its intense blue coloration, heavy webbing, and classic Earth Tiger personality. Still traded under an informal hobby name rather than a formally described species, it is a highly desirable collector's tarantula for keepers who appreciate rare Asian species.
Behavior and Temperament: Fast, defensive and reclusive — advanced species
Habitat and Environment Needs: Prefers a fossorial setup. Substrate: 6–8+ inches of compactable substrate for burrowing. Humidity: 70–80%. Temperature: 74–80°F (23–27°C).
Feeding: Feed on Crickets, dubia roaches, locusts and other appropriately sized feeder insects.
