The Vietnam Highland Tarantula is a fascinating and relatively uncommon Asian Old World species from the highland regions of Vietnam. Its earthy coloration, impressive size, and fossorial lifestyle make it an excellent choice for experienced keepers looking for something outside the usual Cyriopagopus and Chilobrachys species.
Behavior and Temperament: Fast, defensive and reclusive — advanced species
Habitat and Environment Needs: Prefers a fossorial setup. Substrate: 6–8+ inches of compactable substrate. Humidity: 70–80%. Temperature: 72–80°F (22–27°C).
Feeding: Feed on Crickets, dubia roaches, locusts and appropriately sized feeder insects.
