The Cyriopagopus minax is one of the true legends of Old World tarantulas — a large, jet-black earth tiger known for its imposing size, defensive attitude, and raw beauty. Sometimes called the Thailand Black Tarantula, this species is both feared and admired for its power and striking, minimalistic elegance.

Lighting: Low light — prefers dark, secure environments

Once settled, expect to rarely see it — C. minax loves staying deep in its tunnels, especially during the day.
